The Concept:
When my son was diagnosed with bi-lateral clubfoot, my husband and I had no idea what it was and what we should do. For an ailment more common than cleft lip, we had received very little information and guidance from our medical team on how to approach the treatment. On our journey of figuring out what to do, we relied heavily on the internet. Following the rabbits hole of information that scared us more than preparing us for what we needed to do. Defining our problem
Research Method:
During my research phase, we were not working with an existing product. We needed to understand the root cause of bilateral club feet and what a treatment plan looked like. Once we understood the science behind clubfeet, we then researched products that would help us manage a child with clubfeet. We had to rely on the internet, reviews and parent tutorials on what sort of products we needed to use. Finally I conducted interviews with parents that have children with clubfeet. Understand their issues, how they dealt with clubfeet and understood listened to their concerns
Persona:
Based on my research our person was first time parents with a child who was born with club feet.
Motivations
Find the best possible information for the cause and treatment of clubfeet.
Find the easiest clothing and accessories to support the treatment of clubfoot and keep their babies as comfortable as possible
Save money and time by not constantly researching for products, or treatment plans.

Problem:
Parents don’t have access to certified medical information about clubfeet, they don’t have a support system to help them on their road to recovery and parents waste a lot of time and money researching products that will work with their child’s treatment.

When thinking about branding. I wanted to offer a classic, clean feel with high functionality. Spending a lot of time searching for products was a huge issue and I want to make sure parents aren’t spending hours looking for information but focus on their family.
